 Post subject: Handbrake lever

Has anyone changed there handbrake lever and how do you take off the stock one?

If its anything like the earlier models, then the grip part IS the lever. Not seperatable easily. You take the entire lever off and swap the entire unit. Dunno if that applies to SH though.

The grip is usually glued in place. Using a heat gun may loosen it. Sometimes you need to destroy the current grip (=cut it off). I have seen this done on SG's.

Much easier to just unclip the cable and swap the entire lever
