We can all click the link and I prefer this as the new page plays in a much higher resolution than the embedded version.

all i get is the grey box saying that the plug in is not supported? but its only happened recently. i never used to have this problem?

But i like chrome, and its faster than the others i have tried. Can someone please tell how to make it work again?

It's trying to use the Flash plugin, which your phone's chrome browser does not have.

Unfortunately the likely only solution is to click the youtube link and play the video in your phone's YouTube app. Sorry to tell you, this is the "way of the future". The Flash player is the least secure software you run on any device you own. There is a huge push from browser makers and major sites (eg: Firefox and Facebook) for Adobe to retire Flash forever. As someone who has to investigate and patch web security exploits daily, I can't recommend highly enough that you remove Flash from any device.
