Would be interested to see how the baffle goes.

Anyone know of anymore laying around? These would be better than nothing, and I have nothing..... I literally fill my tank to overflowing every session. :(

Hopefully the overheating is now fixed.

The baffle worked in my car down to a 1/4 of a tank (at least). I always added a jerry of fuel once it got that low just in case.

Engine holds a stable temp, fans cut in an out when required, no leaks n running very smoothly. Now to get my conferdence back with her by doing some more short trips

H they do pop up on import monster from time to time but getting pricey now as people have cotton on to them.

Ive just found a hyperflow one that a mate has so all good!

Good to hear issues are getting sorted. Looking forward to seeing you get this out on track!

Yeh i was going to mention u may find a Hyperflow item. I dont believe they make them any more?
I was thinking of making my own before Bobs came available, they are a great option if u do not want/afford a full on surge pot arrangement.

Yeah I just want to run about 3/4 a tank at the start of a session rather than super full. So this should work.

The guy I'm going to get it from basically said its sh1t and he doesnt care if I have it. lol! So cant hurt to try.

Well with the foz i consciously started a race day at the hill climb with half a tank to try n keep the weight down.
Without it i had fuel surge n with it installed....no surge.
H with ur GC8 have u always run a full tank on race day? Are u getting surge issues at half a tank now?

He wants to run about 1/4 a tank and he said it mad almost zero difference at that level. But thats fine with me cause I wont run it that low.

Yeah I've gone down to 1/2 a tank mid session before (twice actually) and both times it surged badly out of shopping trolley at PI.

Hopefully the hyperflow will allow u to race with half a tank which would be better than running a full tank. Keen to hear how u go on ur next track day.
