This looks like a great build. My brother also has a pimpmobile and it's surprisingly fun to drive. Never seen an AMG version though.

They are little wings that help push the wipers onto the screen harder to stop them lifting off at speed, you don't need them.

haha i dunno about that, with a slipping clutch she still made it to 200...when i have the clutch fixed and maybe buy some parts from the UK for a 5spd conversion, she may even go faster. goes scarily quick for a 2 tonne boat

ah yeah, looks like a W123? i love the colours they come in, was at the wreckers today, came across a 'nickel green' one, and theres also a yellow one just around the corner from me

sad to say, but i didnt really pay the benz much attention at all this summer..however when i came up to melb today, i did buy her a shiny new ashtray :P found in a benz at the wreckers

Dad had a 1982 Mercedes 280SE

Man, it drove like a boat, the steering was worse than a boat and you'd seriously get more sea sick in the merc than in a boat haha

Was a massive car and had fun sliding across the back seat as a kid.

was it like mine or more modern? (plastic covered lower half)

as far as i can remember mine handled better than my impreza :? faster and smoother around corners..

yeah youre right, those seats can be damn slippery!
