Adding a turbo or blower would put me back in the class I'm in now, due to a multiplication factor applied to the engine capacity.

I can go +1" on the wheels width without penalty. With there being the TRD & TS versions in Japan an STi brembo upgrade is not an issue. The TRD big brakes (6 & 4 pots) require bigger wheels, which I don't want to do. Exhaust, intake and tuning mods are allowed in 2AM. If I fit my 17×9 wheels I would go up to 3AM, but could strip out and/or add as much aero as I liked as long as the car isn't on slicks.

As the goal here is to have a competitive car that I really only have to service (tyres and brake pads/rotors as well) keeping the mods in check is vital. Then improvements will need to be found in the organic component.

Hahaha, the organic factor.... known as red mist for some ;)
Great choice of car in the 86/BRZ. Anyone else competing in them for the sprint series?

Just one at the last event and it was competitive with minimal mods. Last year there was another one, with about the same level of mods as I am looking at and it smashed the mx-5 crowd. That organic item can be worth a lot of time though and from what I am hearing he is a handy steerer.

I've attached the results from that sprint.

The gap from where I finished to 2nd (in class) was 0.0475 seconds. Going wide at the hairpin certainly cost me.

All loaded up, for what may be my last track day in this car and it should be a good one on the SMSP GP Circuit.

Have fun.

I have herd brz's in na form have little gains left to find in exhaust/ intake.

Stage1: brakes and good tyres
Stage 2: strip it
Stage3: forced induction
would probably be the way to go.I'm keen to try one some day good little sports cars.

Fixed. Not interested in forced induction and more into getting what I can out of the powerplant. Dyno plots rarely show actual driveability improvements.

For staying NA the lsd is not too bad....any change will be a few years after ownership begins.

On other things....
The GP circuit is pretty cool. Turn 7 (Corporate Hill) is almost a blind turn and off camber = good fun. I didn't reach my goal though, which was a time in the 1m40's.....I got close but didn't get there. I had a "moment" in turn 1 when I tried to carry more speed than I usually do through there (mid way through the 3rd run) and had trouble at it for the rest of the day.

So, after a major tidy up the car is in better condition now than when I bought it 6 years ago.........and now belongs to someone else.

I only managed to put 45,000 km's on the odo over that time......they were fun though.
