I was absolutely blown away when I went from a G-Max 17x8 w/ Hankook 235/45, to a Volk Racing 18x10.5 w/ Yokohama 295/30, and it actually WIEGHED LESS !!!!

Thats the power of high quality Japanese forged wheels VS pleb spec Taiwanese knockoffs.

Wow nice reduction in weight, looks tits too.

Gone back to stock wing mate. I assume this is done to suit your class of racing?

Cheers guys, yeah Im wrapped with them. Cant wait to drive the car to see if I can feel the difference.

Wizz, the small spoiler went back on because Im yet to be convinced the big wing does anything other than slow me down on the straights, when I did the 45.1 at PI this small wing was on the.

Might try the big wing again in Jan in prep for subinats later in the year :D

Maybe too much wing angle? Due to it being lower than the roof the air hitting it is coming down a bit, so you can run less angle, get some downforce without too much drag.....or up the power by another 50 kW

Is that how it works Bob?
I seriously have no idea how aero works efficiently, hence it puts me off it.

Basically Ive tested so much stuff now and am getting a fairly good feel for what does what. From tyre pressure, alignments, rake, sway settings etc... But the areo I just have not been able to feel any difference.

The car that beat me at PI did a 44.9 (I had a 45.1) has a fair amount of areo on it so it does make me wonder if Im missing some good gains as my car has zero. Think Im going to need to start specifically testing areo with no other changes to the car...

Strangely enough I ended up winning Sprint this year.

A win is a win and I'll take it.
