Following a recent promotion, I've been fortunate to grab a new Liberty 3.6R as my work vehicle.

Having driven Mazda 6 sedans exclusively over the past four vehicle cycles (8 years) and Commodores before that, it's GREAT to be in a Subaru again. The current generation 6 isn't a bad drive at all, but the Subaru is a class above IMHO.

Pretty impressed with the fit and finish, build quality and refinement.

Loving the 190kW 3.6L boxer, even with the CVT behind it. It's an effortless drive and the best CVT I've driven. I'd still prefer a good modern auto over a CVT (Mazda have a good auto) but Subaru have done a good job with this one.

The Harman Kardon audio setup ain't half bad for a stocker either.

Eyesight + adaptive cruise control = big WIN.

The R is quite competitively priced these days, following a $10k+ price drop vs the previous model.
