Hey Peeps,

Can anyone recommend me a Mobile Auto Electrician or a Workshop?

I've done an engine conversion on my own and now the car won't start. I can't seem to get the fuel pump to prime (got a Walbro unit so could always hear it prime before starting).

I've been down to The Rumbleshack and Adrian said it's a job for an Auto Electrician.

Looking for someone that isn't a stranger to modified cars and isn't gonna spin some BS to try and take my money.

If you yourself is quite capable with the electronic side of tgings and is willing to help, please PM me.

Thanks in advance.
Bryan

Do u have an engine light come on with ign ? Do you get spark when cranking ?

Have you checked to see if you have power at fuel pump ?

No check engine light and there is spark.

I tried to hardwire the pump using a 30amp relay, but there was no response. Still couldn't hear the pump prime.

No engine light could indicate immobilisation problem. Get a scan tool which will tell you straight away.

Pro-tip from an Auto Electirician with over 10 years time on the tools : there is no such thing as a trustworthy auto electrician. LOL

I've heard that a few times from a few people I've called.

I've swapped the immobiliser from the WRX in, but I'm guessing it's not that simple?

Gotta bite the bullet and just get someone down to at least diagnose the problem, any step forward is better than none.

But, what is this scan tool you speak of?? The ones that plug into the OBDII port?
