Pushing for north of 250KW You should have a good FPR and gauge on it anyway.
Or pressure sensor and logging of it.

Or an ECU that actively monitors fuel pressure and adjusts acordingly

On that topic, can you recommend an e85-compatible fuel pressure sensor?

Im using a 100psi Honeywell pressure transducer on the new setup. Cant recal exact part number but i think its a PX2 or maybe MLH seriers stainless steel sensor (transducer).

And previosly i was using a PLX pressure sensor module. Which used a basic VDO sensor.

I dont think either is specifically rated for E85. But im sure they are fine. I ran the PLX/VDO for quite a number of years immersed in E85 and it didnt fail.

Bram, have ben considering a change anyway, i qas tossing up origionally between a dw300 and a walbro 460 but went a dw300 as it was free

Car is running a genuine SARD FPR and matching gauge, im about to change put my paralel fuel rails for injector dynamics rails run in series with all new fittings and hoses, never personally been "comfortable" with this set up

For what its worth. After my first dw300 died. I fitted a second dw300 that i had already purchased. (Was in my yet to be fitted radium fuel surge tank.) And shortly after i then fitted up the radium tank, but put a walbro 450 e85 pump in. Leaving the dw300 in the main tank as a lift pump. Where it is still to this day.

Now with my first dw300. It had different markings to the new dw300. So its possible i had a faker originally. Or they have changed thier design after all the failures? The first dw300 i think i got from a less than reputable seller. (Not gonna name names) the second came from radium with the can.

Another thing to note was when my first dw300 died. I found that after about 2 or 3 years of dedicated e85. My rubber braided AN hose (non-ptfe) had began to rot, and the debris from the hose disintergrating from the inside had clogged the fuel filter and caused it to collapse. Possible ending the dw300 early?

Righto, good advice, i wont be running e85 at all in my car but still going to "fix/upgrade" my rails, prob wont go for a braided line as its not a necessity, i might see if i can try some other dynos pre doing that though.

Fingers crossed its just me or a hot day, the q300 should be finalised today so will have "better" flow, plus its a tad quieter!
