Is it just a switched 12v source to it then ?

There is no clutch switch at the ECU but a neutral switch yes.
Like many switches it's pulled to ground (the exception being the A/C switch which is pulled to +12v).

The clutch switch found on some models is just a starter interlock.

So if I'm doing this as a conversion into a non Subaru how would I wire in a neutral switch?

Also, what are people's thoughts on wiring in a `check engine`light and it looks like a4 and a13 are reference lines for the rad......do I run those wires now to a couple of relays?

The neutral switch is pulled to ground when closed: 1 wire to ground, the other to the ECU.
CEL has 1 wire to switched +12v and 1 wire to the ECU (which pull it to ground to light the CEL).
The 2 radiators fans outputs are used with up to 4 relays to manage 3 combos. You may use only a4 with 1 relay but you need a reflash to change the parameters, or use a4 and a13 with 2 relays and a twin speed fan like OEM.

Back again for more questions......

Looks like my TPS has three wires and can only see a diagram for a 4 wire.

What I have on the connector is:

YR (yellow with a red stripe)
WR (white with a red stripe)
RY (red with a yellow strip)

According to the diagram it looks like '4' wire from the TPS goes no where. Can anyone enlighten me. It looks like it goes to connector E2/B21 but outside of it , not really into anything.

There are only 3 wires used :
- ground
- +5v
- signal

Looks like right in the middle of wiring and I see I'm missing the 'Wastegate control solonoid valve' which comes from wire a19 from B134 plug which I have neither the valve or the plug or the wire comingfrom the ECU.Will it run without this even though the wire and the valve is missing?

the ECU won't be happy without the Boost control solenoid unplugged.

Are you 100% you're looking at the right pins in the loom.

Also, the solenoids would be part of the "engine bay" loom and not the "engine" loom
