hey mate just starting into it,

currently looking into making my own shells, starting with a SG

the plan is:

get sketchup model from sketchup warehouse
scale to roughly 1:10 (and using my chassis wheel base
make slice templates to suit 25mm extruded closed cell styrofoam (bluefoam)
shape to suit
cover with resin (to resist heat)
vac form lexan sheet

so if i can get the method down pat, i might be able to make anything really

Stage 1 complete,

Sketchup model scaled and split into templates to cut 25mm extruded closed cell polystyrene foam (blue foam)
