Good points Skyrex. I know RAC was pretty good to deal with when i had a crash with them. Car was pretty heavily modified, and the crash happened on a quite road with only my car involved.... they paid out no Qs asked. But had to use a panel shop of thier choosing.

A few friends say Bingle is ok but you have to use their repair shop, not a repairer of your choosing. That may or may not be a good thing.

They all do that now.

Some insurance companies such as NRMA allow you to choose your repairer.

Thanks for the options and advise lads
Alway had the assumption that if you had a bing and didn't inform the insurance company of your mods they wouldn't pay out.
Going to get a few more quotes today

The bigger companies like NRMA and GIO allow you to chose repairer but this is factored into your premium cost hence why, generally, the premium is much higher than companies that offer a no frills type policy without the added 'BS' benefits you will likely never need.

I went with RAA, but due to mods, they put me under their subsidery....H2P. Same policy, except for no free windscreen per year and no guaranteed rating 1 for life. They are quite expensive (~$1100/year), but really easy to deal with when it comes to claiming.

With RAA, you can choose your repairer.

Cmac, did i see your beast parked out front of middy's (salisbury) today?

Yep, that would of been my Foz at Driven. Had some boost creep that i wanted checked out, might need a re-tune.
