Yeah pretty much. The tree moved faster than I was expecting. Pretty lame start, had no boost built up at the launch. I know I can do faster with some more practice. Ive deffinately had faster starts off at trafic lights etc. Just a matter of getting my timeing sorted. That run did beat an evo 7, but I think the evo missed a gear or something haha.

Its sometimes daunting for first timers, practice makes perfect....keep up the good work.

Yeah. I wanna get a few more runs down and see what the car can do in its current state. But drags does seem pretty bad on drivetrain breakage. Was speaking with 2 forester owners both with busted boxs. (02 gt and 06 xt) I dont want to join that list.

I've only heard of one person breaking first and that was on hot r-comps on a prepped track. The killer is the change to second or third. Your box is better then the early 5 spd too
How were you launching? If you get that 60ft time down your time will improve heaps!
I've heard dropping the clutch on the last yellow gives you a decent reaction time. If you are after a time and not racing the car next to you sit there for a second and get the launch right
