The torque in the graph looks well over the 488Nm quoted?

Nope... That's the real torque at the wheels. Mainline dynos can give a 'Total Torque' reading or 'Derived Torque' reading. Total torque is roller torque, not true torque at the wheels. It is affected by gearing and tyre size etc.

Derived Torque the true torque at the wheels which is not affected by gearing, tyres etc...

I noticed in your sig u quote over 600nm... That's total torque.

I hear you man, I was just comparing the graph to the numbers on that chart.

Yeah 600nm is all well and good but I'm sure if I got on your dyno I'd lose a couple hundred newton's.

Quarter miles speak louder than graphs :)

It's because MSR chooses to display torque in total torque Figures instead of derived torque. Creates a lot on confusion and makes comparing numbers from his dyno to other people's dyno near impossible.

Yep 600 sounds a lot better than 400 :P

At least the power seems consistent with other dynos

288kw + 5mt + drag strip... That's going to be some mighty sparkly gearbox fluid soon haha ;)

Hey Dazz, what is a 288kw car like on the street?

My 200kw vf34 is nice but any more lag and I could imagine it being a pain to drive

Drives great on the street. Off boost is just like a NA car, then when boost hits, it just goes haha

I'd love to have a turn in a 250kw+ car to see if that's the way I want to go in the future.

Keen to see how he goes on e85
