Could be that when the sensor was shorted out the ECU had no temp to reference so it shut down. Not sure.
The E77 is because they didn't get all the BP 98 out of the tank when they drained it before putting in the E85. When the Ethanol content goes to 85% it will go to the next load cell in the ECU and add in a little bit more timing and fuel which equals more wasps.
Im running a 5 speed with helical PPG gearset. My transfer case issues is bearing noise. Sound is a whine which increases with road speed does it under accel and decel with clutch in or out. Gonna whip the back off the box and start there first.

It's the only thing I haven't done they are still stock GT mounts, I thought this would have been a no brainer to change when I did the conversion but Pulse left them in there said it wasn't in the budget.
I have them ready to go in but they look like a PITA to change.

Not in the budget? What the hell B/S is that. Even if they werent quoted, he should have recommended you get them done while apart. You could get a set of those beatrush ones for 200-250 delivered. Who the hell builds a 350kwaw motor and runs stock 15yr old forester mounts?

which mounts fo you have?

ive done them. Think I did it when I did headers? wasnt too bad.

Change out the stock mount and you'll notice a big difference. They aren't too bad to change if you can jack your engine up a bit.

I think the intake air temp sensor gives a reference to ground. I imagine if the ecu see's a short it shuts down as a precaution to save your engine.

Engine group N mount are done, pitch stopper, and gear box. Getting a lot of horrible gearbox/drive line noise now with the upgraded mounts but the trade of feels so much better.

I will have to go back to WSID for a second attempt soon
