Howdy

I have a couple of rusted in plugs, I'd heard you can use deisel fuel to soak around the plugs to free them.

Any suggestions on how to fix this please?

Rust-off or a WD-40 type spray should help if you leave it to penetrate for a while.

When unscrewing them go anti clockwise and then clockwise every turn or so, normally helps to remove rusted bolts without damaging threads.

As epearce advised do this!

A good mechanic I knew recommended when unscrewing them go anti clockwise and then clockwise every turn or so, normally helps to remove rusted bolts without damaging threads.

Cheers Al
