Hey guys!

I have a 98 GT Foz that I purchased, had a nasty knock from the bottom end. I replaced the short block with a 2nd hander (which i saw running prior to having it taken out of the donor). Dropped it in, car ran fine for the first 30-45 minutes and then randomly conked out and wont start again - Not even turning over.

When I turn the ignition on, the ABS and hand brake lights come on, but the fuel pump does not prime. When I turn it off and pull out the keys the lights on the dash stay on, and the fuel pump turns on and wont stop unless i turn the ignition on, or disconnect the battery.
Aswell as the above the car wont enter diagnostic mode when i plug the green connecters together.

I thought this might be an ECU issue, as the ECU had been re-flashed by the previous owner, however I have a '99 WRX ECU kicking around from my old GC8, I plugged that in, and all the same issues as above.

Anyone seen this before? Ideas on where to start looking?

Reads like a main relay problem if electrics are staying on after key is out.

Update : Pulled out the dash to start hunting for potential aftermarket piggybacks or turbo timers. Didn't find anything, put the dash back together and tried to start it, same issue.
I got a friend to try starting while I measured the power to the starter motor with a multi metre and the car kicked into life, and hasnt had an issue for the past 24 hours. Haunted loom for sure
