OMG what a great little track. This place is not exactly car friendly, a few open wheelers lost front wings and a couple of cars ended up very 2nd hand. A Mitsubishi GTO got airborne in "the pinch" (you'll know where this is when you see the video) to end up on one of the plastic barricades before hitting a lamp post. A turbo Bluebird (FJ20DET) went in pretty hard too, sat in the pits on 3 wheels most of the afternoon. I'm not sure on my times at the moment, the board was only updated sporadically.....PITA.

Run 1, a bit of a sighter just using 1st and 2nd with plenty of rev limiter.

Run 2, dropped the shift buzzer a few hundred rpm and short shifted a bit, using 3rd gear. I was happy with this run until the final sweeper, where I got a bit of understeer, wasting some time. Still faster then the first run though.

Run 3, not a good a launch, but felt better everywhere else.

It was a great day for the event but the number of stoppages really slowed things down. It was well after 2pm before I got to have my 3rd run (event started at 9am).

Nice runs Bob . I watched and recorded your first run but in typical touch screen style pressed record twice , actually "paused" it ! Doh. Looked pretty quick and i heard 43sec something ?

Yes, fastest Subaru is code for slower than all the EVO's. Need more power to play with them.

Nice hillclimb! Plenty of stuff to hit...

Could go dukes of hazzard style over the pinch for sure.
