Its a custom billet 11 blade gtx / borgy hybrid that my turbo builder gets made up... it made 466 at like 5500 and then tuner backed off cause afr started raising so is still adding power at 26psi considdwring max power isnt till 6700 odd and was more at 5500 with more boost ... these wheels generally have been found to have good flow well over 30psi.. i have a .82 rear on a 2.1 so the rear housing wont be choking anything

If it still uses the usual GTX 3076 compressor wheel, it will be heading out of its efficiency range on a 2.1L engine at 2bar+, in the high RPMs. This graph shows predicted results from regular GTX3076 on a 2.5L, assuming 100% volumetric efficiency. Jakes 2.1L with the aggressive cams and headwork would be pretty similar. Following the horizontal light blue line across (2 bar boost), we can see its heading out of efficiency from 6k (orange line), and running off the map at 7K (red line), and if Jake wanted to push past 7k rpm, and maintain 30+ pound, the compressor will be hating it, and turbo spunning a stupid RPMs trying to keep up. Bear in mind this graph is predicted for a 2.5L engine, not a 2.1L. And assumes a flat 100% VE. (Efficient heads can sometimes push VE over 100% at certain RPMs) But i would estimate close enough, given the headwork on the car.

Not saying it wont work, and not saying it wont still make great power. But for all out power / drag / racewars, a 3582 or equivalant sized turbo would probs do it better. But still also got to consider Jake wants the car to be still responsive enough to compete in tarmac rally and track work. So all in all its probs a perfect sized turbo for his intended use. (And also why i settled on a 3076 for my car aswell.)

Good info.

It looks to hit a higher peak than the 7163 but spool slightly slower.

Maybe I should get a bigger turbo

Imagine how hard it’s going to go when sorted yeeeooow.
Jacob has been going great guns, has been getting plenty of seat time and it’s paying off.
