we went in off ritter road, through the gravel and up into the dunes, then drove down to the beach, and in reverse to get out, so yeah, up the big dune on the way out

Try your hand at a bit of salmon fishing? How was the beach being school holidays and all?

Bakerboy:
yeah we did aim for salmon but didnt get any :( bagged out on herring and tailor tho so was still a good day out. Going to head back monday after next to try again.
I went on a weekday so it wasnt that busy, the weekend crowds can be pretty full on especially during school holidays.

Nachaluva:
Thanks bud! Yeah we are spoilt for beaches and dunes in WA. Now i got the forester i can explore the hard to reach ones :)

This was from 12 months ago the first time I took the Forester out onto Stockton (we were living in Newcastle when we bought it).

Also took a few videos:
Onto stockton from Lavis lane down to the Sigma wreck.

Small dune climb:

External shot in the dunes:

Also went onto Blacksmiths (the guys in 'proper' 4x4s were all looking at me weirdly):

Second time got got stuck up after sliding into some wheel tracks and had to use my trax to get out.

Getting unbogged;

After this experience, I broke the undertrays (you can see them hanging in the Stockton video above which was taken later) and got sand everywhere, and decided the XT was too nice to 'ruin' offroading constantly, so bought a Pajero instead which has been great fun.

ANd a final video of some 'fun' in the Blacksmiths access dunes:
