 Post subject: car auctions in japan

well im going back to japan but im wondering which auctions allow non japanese to inspect thecars
from what ive found u have to be a japanese national to even look at the cars -.-

Yes, not just anybody can walk in to inspect the cars on the auction lot.
You need to be a registered and licensed buyer with a company before they'll let you in. On the other hand, Ive hear if you get in touch with a auction broker (like the company mentioned above), you might be able to go along with one of their licensed inspectors and check some of the cars going up for bidding. You might need to make some kind of contract or deposit with them first though.

Thanks for the info. Theres quite a few companies to choose from, but its always good to know which ones were reliable :thumbs:
