Noticed that the Koah United Servo is getting a new tank put in over the weekend, so called them today, Turns out they'll have e85 next week!

Still a bit of a pain, being half an hour out of cairns, but I'm damn happy I spent the extra coin on the eflex setup now

That means I'll have to look into a 40 gal drum Stored in the garage... Or maybe just four or five 20L jerrys.

How long does e85 last?

Great news.

You can get off-the-shelf "e85 fuel stabiliser" which claims to give it a long shelf-life.

When I switch to E85 (with the servo 20-25 mins away) i'll be using a few extra 20L jerry cans (which i've started collecting).

From my experience the silver Super Cheap Auto plastic jerry cans (traditional shape) have rubber seals in the caps/purer that swell up on contact with fuel fumes, making the whole pouring arrangement unworkable. I returned those to SCA.

In contrast I've found the "Sceptre" brand jerry cans (made in Canada i think) very good for my mower (5L) and car (20L squat style to sit upright in the car boot).
