No mate, I was just mentioning how comfy they must be!

Looking forward to Philbos for sale thread for reclining sofas.

Does Bram not want them?

I like to lay in a counch. Not sit in one.

If i wanted to sit, id do it uncomfortably in the seat of the great wall work ute while getting paid for pretending to work.

Hope it comes out cleanly with no after effects.

Isn't it strange ... I've had it a couple of times over the years, and the only concern they show at the local practice is whether it is iron/steel or not, as that can cause staining and complications (and REAL issues in an MRI machine). Aluminium - meh!

I find its rarely actually metal that goes in the eye, instead its usually little bits of abrasive cut off / grinding wheel.

This one was a relatively good experience. I got a very experienced doctor. She got the piece out with just the needle on the first go. No need to go in there with the eye burr and bore it out.

Ive had some horror experiences previosly, one time they couldnt get it out with many goes with the eye grinder. They had so many goes that they actually munched up my eye to the point where i had to go home and let it heal for a day or so before they have another 'dig' at it. I presume the technician was hoping that they wouldnt be on shift when i returned. Haha. Another time i got an apprentice doctor to administer the tracer dye eye drops to my eye. He put like 5 drops of concentrate into my eye, and when tge head doctor returned, he informed the apprentice that he should dilute the concentrate dye 1 to 10 in saline, then only administer 1 or 2 drops of the mix. So needless to say, my eye was fluro orange for while. It actually made my vision orange/red. It was like i had just been killed on golden eye.

The wait was the standard 3-3.5 hour wait. Although the emergency room was very free flowing for a saturday night, it still took a long while from when i was taken out the back, till when someone actually came. I have a strong suspiscion that if you come in during the end half of a shift, they deliberately wait until the new shift starts so you get a fresh doctor. As looking back on it, every time ive been in, i only ever get seen to after all the nurses end there shift. (They all walk past the eye room on the way out of the place.) So in future, i might time it so i get there just before shift transistion and see if it makes any difference.
