I used to know a guy named Darrel. He was quite the bogan, and we got along well and were pretty good mates. He was such a good bogan, i even had his contact saved in my phone as "Darrel Bogan". He had a VC commodore that he had put alot of work into and was into his holdens. We would often hang out and talk sh!t, watch action movies, and flame grill BBQ large pieces of dead animal.

He gradually became quite shanti, to the point were he was doing detox vegan dieting, lots of yoga and meditation training. He sold his Commodore to some guy in SA, and bought an Amorok. (Already you can see the down hill trajectory taking shape.) He went full shanti when he quit his job as a manager for a large steel constuction company (where he was doing pretty well for himself) to go study acupunture, massage and alternative medicine therapy.

We grew apart and never see each other anymore. He bumped into me at freo markets about a yr ago. I didnt even recognise him. He was wearing some kind of wierd pyjamas and talked like he was in a cult.

Moral of the story, you never go full-shanti.

I put the paj on gumtree yesterday after giving it a mega detail on saturday, it sold within 2 hrs, guy left a deposit & picking it up tonight, i advertised it for 7200 hoping to get 6000, he offered 6800 woohoo
