Hi There,
Does anyone know of a good air con specialist in Northern Melbourne, the climate control in my 09 forester xt has stopped working. The air con still works if the temperature nob is switched off but once the air con is turned to a specific temp it becomes hot. Can anyone shed some light on this? Has this happened to anyone else? Any help would be much appreciated thanks

So is there any cold AC air with the AC switched on? Can you hear the AC compressor engage/disengage when you turn the AC on/off?

I used Vic Automotive AC in Spencer St, West Melb when mine was dumping luke warm air regardless of temp. Frankie was good, took a few visits to workout the exact problem, he didn't give up or palm me off. I believe he has a mobile service if location is an issue.

Hi Mate,

I go to a bloke in Burwood - Complete Automotive Solutions.
Guy there is Steve and he is pretty awesome with all this sort of thing. Used to work at an auto elecs just next to Subaru in Glen Waverly and did all their overflow work. So knows a heap about our cars.

Hi Eden,
Yes the air con is still working but its playing up when you increase the temperature dial. Seems to go from cold when the temp is turned all the way down to warm when turned to say 17degrees. Cheers Nav and Ross will give them a buzz, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Last night I drove the car and it seemed to be working again fine?? thanks for the response lads I might do some ringing round.

I recommend Mario at Chill Auto Air - 0400 644 656.

https://www.yellowpages.com.au/vic/thom ... sting.html

He'll come out to you and sort out your issues with no fuss and for a reasonable price.

Tell him Zissis sent you and he'll look after you.
