Looking for the part number or confirmation for a oxygen sensor for a Foz GT MY00.
Its on the upper part of the dump pipe inbetween turbo and cat.
Car only has one.
Has 3 wires on plug.
Would this be the same as the wrx gc8 my94-00?

Thanks! Found a source of the genuine one this morning for $132. Subaru Aus want $449. No way!

Part number is 22690AA321, which is a newer replacement for the original 22690AA320 that the MY99/MY00 shipped with. The generic Bosch part is LSO2

Part can be found here - http://www.cyberspaceautoparts.com.au/c ... nsors.html

I just ordered this part for my car from the above site. Thanks for the info Andrew, what a great forum this is! If you were none the wiser you'd be stuck paying Subaru's rip off prices.

i've been advised by a local perfermance tuner in town to not bother with a generic plug that you need to cut and solder plugs with - the wire for O2 sensors is nickle coated and doesn't take the solder well, even using crimp type clips wont creat a strong enough connection. It will supposedly have a tendency to get weaker current that can lead to wrong readings.

the generics can supposedly be purchased with the correct plugs, but there are several part numbers that seem to change between models ?

strubaru was saying you can just pop the pins out of the connector and swap them, no need for cutting or soldering
