you spray half the can in slowly, and the foam must have some chemical reaction/compound to clean the carbon build up, taking a guess.

This is when engine is warm temp. then run rest of the can through to clean up more.

What i can tell you if you used it correctly you see white smoke coming out your exhaust, this is a sign your cleaning the intake manifold.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Yeah this is true, did it back many years when i first brought my foz, smoked for a solid 3-4 minutes. neighbour came out cause they thought a fire started haha

They say every service but every second one should be fine for you.

I did this for the 2nd time.........................

1st time I did it ~10,000kms ago, I did it via a short hose connected to the valve.........and didn't spray half when the engine was cold (just kept on coming out of the hose when I got impatient). It didn't really smoke much either.

A week ago, I applied the UEC this time with a longer hose. I still don't think I got half a can in there as it took ages for it to be applied slowly..............and also basing on the fact when I applied the 2nd 'half', it just felt like I applied so much more.

Did you use a different hose so as not to put the UEC through the existing line? Swapping that line seems difficult without removing the IC first.

Cheers :)

I just used the existing one and pinched the hose around the nozzle extension. You have to go slowly for the first stage but once the engine is running it sucks it all in!

Awesome. Just finished it and can be added to the list of happy customers.

I got a can of this stuff from my mechanic who swears by it. He said he thinks it's made by the same people who make the Subaru branded one.

For added JDM it's got Japanese on the can too! スーパーエンジンコンヂシナー
