So some bloody assh0L35 broke in to my car, again! (twice in a year)
So I'm now badly in need of an alarm system. Is it relatively straightforward install in an '04 SG XT or so i need to pull half the car apart? (or visit an autoelectrician...)

It really depends on which alarm / what features you want. And how fussy you are about the install. They arent all the same spec.

Any auto elctrician will be capable of installing one for you. But you may preffer to DIY if your confident doing your own wiring, as that way you can ensure the instal is neat and secure to your own standards. (Unfortuantly proffesional instals sometimes arent the best as the tradesman is working to time/budget constraints.)

I'm pretty competent with wiring and all, I'd just need guidance by a diy/ how to post to figure out how everything hooks up...
