Hey Guys,

Im looking at some headlight options for my SH Foz and stumbled across Mars Performance.

They are Black drl LED & CCFL angel eyes projector head lights that go for $499 without the added little extras like higher temperature Xenon/HIDs (extra $150).

These don't look to bad but im wondering if anyone has any experience with them or has the majority of people gone the custom route? and is this on the higher side for Halos and Projectors ?

Thanks

~Sutto

There are a few who have them, I considered them, but you can't reuse your stock xenon globes (have to buy new ones from MARS). Decided I'm going to black out my stock ones instead. But agree they do look cool.

This guy has them but his photobucket links are all broken:

Also I think EvilRooter has them (can't find his thread though)

Lol, i stumbled across these about a week ago too.

Pity they don't fit my car. I would have given them a try.

I cant say for SH, but for the SG forester, considering the genuine headlights are $1300 each brand new from Subaru, $499 for a pair plus $150 for HID kit sounds good

I was looking at their site and apparently they have other models you just have to email them to see if they have yours, But your right It does seem like a fairly good deal. Might be something to really look into in the very near future...

Looking at it tho the HIDs are around the same temperature as the upgraded Halogen bulbs (5800K) just at a rather large price difference but lower Wattage which are the same as the high beams if you wish to add them to the purchase.

Interesting....

Yeah I emailed them and they don't do them for the SG.

Then I asked if they just did a HID kit for my car to replace the factory HID kit and they responded with "yes, we have the bulbs for your car, but don't recommend it because you don't have projectors"......

Pretty sure at this point we weren't speaking the same language, so I went elsewhere and.......

I'm now going this route....http://www.delonixradar.com.au/hid-xeno ... r/dlx/35w/

It's cheaper than replacing the ballasts on both sides, let alone replacing both entire headlights.

PS. The ballast on my driver side is causing issues, which is why I am doing this.
