My first R34 GT-R was detailed by Eugene Chan at Wahroonga.
Superb attention to detail at a very reasonable cost.

It won the Mark Skaife Award for Best Concours.

Not a swirl mark left on it - and black is the most difficult colour as you know.

Who ever you use in sydney. DONT USE superior shine. They're terrible.

I've been thinking about doing some detasiling while i am out of work as there are not alot of detailers in sydney who really care. Bar one or two rare ones.

I think you'll find that it's not the detailers that don't care, it's the customers who won't pay them enough to care, if that makes sense?

A select few will have the clientele and word of mouth to attract the high dollar jobs, everyone else is dealing with an oversupply of detailers, playing race to the bottom of the price hill to clean mums garbage bin on four wheels.

Actually, there is a distinct lack of knowledge from alot of detailers in sydney. Not all of them, just alot. I paid $700 to have my car done and the amount of things i saw this "pro" do wrong was insane.

I'd be keen to hear about this... I'm in Melbourne and just paid double that and am going through the motions of corrective paint work from the 'pro' detailer at the moment... Turns out even if you do go for the top of the line and pay the 'asked' price you can come unstuck... I'm not going to name anyone at the moment, but if anyone is considering getting work done, make sure you speak to A LOT of people before hand, and make sure they have worked on your car / year / colour before...
