I've seen a many of sedans and other wagons etc with a form of driving light / spot light / light bar positioned behind the grille, after a few searches I haven't definitively found a solution to my potential problem/idea.

No real 'aftermarket' bolt up product, seen an idea / solution on another forum site using a length of pipe with some clamps and alike bolted to front of car above bumper bar reinforcement area.

So if people have done this past or present could you throw some pictures up so I can get idea or way of doing this install, otherwise I am thinking a flat bar with two holes drilled into it bent accordingly to both bolt up to lights and front of radiator support panel (much like an hella horn setup). behind grille.

I don’t know what vehicle model you are intending to do this on, but I did it on my SH. The construction of the mount can be found here

I got the mount idea from seeing SG’s using a similar method.

Here’s what I did...

I made brackets from ally angle from Bunnings. Fixed the brackets to the existing holes in the support beam, I’ve highlighted them in the first pic.

Lights are Narva 175 halogen spot spread combo and fit behind both the stock grill (with mesh) and the billet JDM grill.

Its a bit of a PIA to aim them as the mounting bolts are inaccessible when theyre installed.

Can get you better pics if you need

Will eventually upgrade lamps to something like these with DRL.
