Hi,

For reference here are the standard chassis heights for MY01/MY02 (may be similar for 98/00), and MY03/MY06 (both turbo and N/A).

My STI is 395mm Front and Rear Specific Wheel Arch Height.

I want some lowered springs for it, but am having trouble finding out info...

I need to find out if my car has either :

1) - XT Struts with lowered springs
2) - WRX Struts with WRX Springs

If its 1), then I assume I have no self levelling rear struts

Anyone know ??

Hi Chris,

See if you can get a part number off one of your rear struts.

Cheers

Hi Chris,

No luck I'm afraid.... Local WRX/STI Strut part numbers are different, they have an "FC" in place of the "SA", and the last three numbers are different.

From the EU guys....
FSTI's have unique (stiffer than FXT, longer than Impreza) struts and springs, they also ride 15mm lower than FXT.

Most the EU guys lower them using aftermarket adjustable coilovers like the AST's, but you can use Impreza STi parts and a rear 'butt lifter' spacer to set the ride heights the same!
