 I know, not another thread on brake pads

I'm after something clean, quiet and easy on rotor, with any extra performance over stock as a bonus. It's a spirited daily driver  QFM HPX seems like a good choice and reasonably priced. I did a search here but most of the info I found are from almost 10 years ago, so quick question is, are they still relevant or are there new players in town?

Thanks in advance.
Vinnie

I tried them after being recommended, didn't like them. I've gone back to stock Subaru pads

Im running HPX on Liberty GT setup, slotted rotors, braided lines and good fluid and I like them alot.

Need to be warmed up a little to get the best from them. @ cold there is a little squeak.

I am using Intima SS pads. They are clean, quiet and easy on rotor. No complaints so far.

Thanks Tobyo, out of all the brands out there, I try to avoid Bendix as there's quite a few complains about brake dust. Moreover, I recalled there was a lot of various complains back when I was driving Nissan Silvia many years ago

Care to elaborate on what you didn't like about them? Cheers.

From what I've read previously, the cold squeak mainly happens cold start in the morning and it will be gone after a few blocks, is that right?

Intima SS was my initial choice. Do you have the (factory) shims? I've read that they can get a bit noisy especially without the shims.

I am running factory shims - no noise. I also read they could be noisy so spoke with Paul from Street to Track and he had not heard of any issues. He then contacted Intima directly and they also hadn’t received any complaints.

I found them to be great - once warmed up. I habitually brake hard a couple of times when I pull out of the driveway now to get some heat into them. After having to emergency stop a couple of years ago when the brakes were cold I nearly messed myself. :?
No squeaks or squeals and very little brake dust.
