What size is that? $209 each for the 3 tyres.

I got some RE003 quotes from Bridgestone if anyone is interested:

    * 215/55r17: $199
    * 225/50r17: $239
    * 225/55r17: $239
    * 235/45r17: $169

Sorry for the dumb question.

Im up for a new set of tyres soon. Ive read some good things about the RE003's, but im wondering if theyl be alright for driving to the snow in winter?

What do you currently have on the car? I doubt they will be worse, unless you have specific winter/snow tyres.

I have RE003s and have driven to Mt Buller on a number of occasions with them.

They seemed fine to me. No issues whatsoever. If the weather is bad enough, you'd need to use chains anyways.

Ive got the dreaded stock tyres on them.

I dont have chains because they arent needed in NSW when you have a 4wd.....:P

Stupid loop hole where somehow AWD cars dont need them.

Anyway That sounds promising enough to me!

Hey guys,

Thanks stefanra65.

Why is the 235/45r17: $169 so much cheaper? If they will fit mine I would be very pleased.

I have the standard SH XT Alloys in 17's of course. With correct Load Rating what size will fit these alloys, without issues?
