Watch out for your head gaskets!

Yeh i drive it very gently and not one to redline it at every gear change and with the block only having 125,000 kms on the clock i'm hopping if i baby it i can hold out a little longer for head gaskets (as there are on the list of long term tasks)

But will watch out for all the tell tail signs for sure - thanks for the heads up

Well that could be an option as well if need be
- might consider my options
1 - reducing the boost
2 - replacing the head gaskets and pistons (while i have the heads off)

i have also read over night that the turbo models have a MLS gasket that is pretty reliable

It's the headstuds that need to be beefed up. Go ARP as most have done but if you drive conservatively (yeah right!) it can hold
