Quick question about setting up slightly lower and stiffer in the rear suspension.

I have a set of MY10 Spec C WRX suspension sitting at home no doing a damn thing.

I am wondering if these will take the Pedders Sport ryder springs (220023) and give me a slightly lower and not soft in the butt ride?

Any input would be great. Anyone running a similar setup? Would i still need spacers on the rear or would the stiffer spring account for the wrx softness?

So you want to put pedders forester springs in wrx struts?

From what I've read when researching WRX/STI options for the SH - stiffer springs in the rear have helped mitigate any sag from the WRX options. The STi options don't sag as much and I personally have MY08 STi struts/springs in mine. I reckon they've settled around 1cm since being installed but that's about it.

People have put "saggy butt spacers" in with WRX struts/springs but I've not heard of anyone needing them with the STi kit.

The rears are very easy to swap out, so you could always just chuck them in as they are now and see how they go over a month or so. If you're not happy, pull them out and swap the springs.

Yeah.

Could be a dumb idea.

My assumption:
Springs will affect ride stiffness and height

Struts will affect reboud post hitting the bump.
A wrx strut may have less stroke the a forry, limiting wheel travel but i don't know the actual specs. (Prob not too big a deal on road, smooth surface)

I don't know if the wrx strut design would affect ride height. (I don't think so/ could be wrong)

I've got spacers for mine... I've got my15 sti suspension....i strongly suggest spacers for anyone going down the wrx/sti... Slight rake over sunken back any day of the week
