Hi all. Help needed with my S-Edition please.

1) Best place for upper engine cleaner? My sons 2 litre has several hoses and plugs that can be used but I'm drawing a blank with my S.

2) How the hell do you get the throttle body off for a good clean? Looks to me like everything around and above (including inlet manifolds) have to come off. Is this right?

I do all my own spanner work - recently changed the big belt, pulleys, tensioner etc so not shy re' engine work.

Cheers.

Excellent. Thanks for the advice. I found the link to the throttle body but usually take them right off to clean on other cars. Guess it's not easy on the S Edition.

Throttle body is fairly simple, take off engine cover, disconnect hoses on bov/bypass, unscrew 2 screws for bov/bypass. Take off intercooler. Then loosen clamp of throttle body with screwdriver/flat head then thats that. Takes minutes tops.
