These recently became available stateside and I was wondering if any of our brothers from down under had heard of or had experience with these? Looking to team a strut up with my pedder sports springs. The factory strut isn't cutting it and I don't want to deal with Koni inserts in 2011 WRX setup and spacers if I don't have to.

Thank you! I was actually looking at their touring strut. It’s fixed height but adjustable rebound.

To be totally honest, by the time you buy the Cusco touring struts (front and back) which works out to be $1300 AUD, then pay for postage to get them here, say a minimum $300 AUD, then buy Pedders springs at the height you want $250. Weather you fit them together yourself or not your wasting your money. Why are you looking for a fixed strut? Are you worried about getting defected? Or looking to retain standard height? Ive had most high end brands of suspension in most of the cars ive had so if i can give you some advice i would be glad to help.

I think Hoyeo might have had these? Check out his build page.

Yeah I've seen these pop up in another thread.

My personal opinion, purely based on the prices posted above - that's very close to MCA Blues territory which should give you want in terms of height adjustability and the option to select spring rates at no extra cost.

Thanks, and I appreciate the input. I already have the springs and these fixed struts are just $700 USD here. I have little time to mod or monkey with the car these days, so I'm looking for a set it and forget setup as much as possible. Fixed struts seem to outlast coilover setups as well.

The go to around here is a koni insert in a WRX donor strut. I figured if I could just plug these struts into my current setup, it could vastly improve the damping. My only real complaint right now is that front OEM struts cant keep up with the pedders spring rate and bounce too much after a pavement imperfection.

Mate I had Yellow Koni adjustable inserts in my GD My06 WRX using donor struts.
You mention Koni here in Aussie and you get their Old School, but Koni are hard to beat for quality, performance and rebuildability!

Cheers Al
