Anyone have a source for boots to suit short throw shifters, one that will clip onto the underside of the shift knob?
I've got the Ultrex STS on mine with the OEM boot and am keen to track down something that isn't quite so loose.
Open to any suggestions for off the shelf or custom made sources, here or abroad.
Maybe someone has some tips on modifying an OEM boot - if that's even a realistic possibility?
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately I cant answer your question. But generally as a rule, if a after market manufacturer cant be bothered to make their product fit the function, then I don't go near them. I've always used Kartboy short shifters which fit like a glove. Maybe instead of changing parts to suit the Ultrex, might be quicker and easier to go for a short shifter which does it right in the first place :dontknow:

Yea same. I have the Cobb short shifter and the stock boot sits nicely with that kit

Cable tie (or two) under boot to hold it snug to the bottom of the shifter should do the trick. Have done that before with success.
Bigger/chunkier the cable tie the better.
