I did the exact same thing with my dog too!! The seat belt can be pulled apart though, then you can see the mechs behind it and undo it.

So for future reference, was able to fix this today (finally :lol: ):
- Pull up rear seat (4x 10mm hex head nuts under drink holder flip out panel)
- Undo seatbelt retention nut (14mm hex head)
- Use a small thin flathead to pop the back of the seatbelt assembly (all sides except the bottom which has the pop rivet)
- pivot the panel on the pop rivet to expose the insides
- Was able to manipulate the mechanism to get it out
- Repeat steps in reverse to reassemble

Not too hard in the end - learning things is fun :drinks:

Guys, this is absolutely ridiculous that you have to disassemble your seatbelts.

I would definitely be seeking refunds from the retailers, regardless of when you purchased the harnesses, as they are not fit for purpose.
