Not sure gains I got as I didn't get a dyno after, but I just got a dump lipe from S&J and a VF46 to put in. Both going in tomorrow so will see how jt goes, I did notice it goes harder and the exhaust sounds pretty good already with the CBE. I haven't noticed any drone.

where did you pick up the VF46?
im thinking seriously about it.....

How's the sound MTBTRAIL?

Hey clayq
I'm actually very happy with how it sounds. After doing a bit of research on TBE's, I picked hyperflow hoping that it would be quieter and not drone by having a larger resonator and the design of the new touring mufflers. On idle once warmed up and the rev's drop it has that boxer rumble, a nice tone, not loud. On acceleration it definitely rumbles but a "beautiful tone", if that is the word to use, or should I just say you know it's a Foz. At cruising 60,80 100km/hr windows up you can just hear that rumble but have to listen hard.

Awesome thanks - I'm trying my hardest to decide on an exhaust that isn't loud but sounds good at WOT.

I have the Hyperflow CBE with an different dump (Unknown Performance brand) and it sounds pretty rumbly. I thought it may be too loud but my Mrs reckons it sounds awesome, I have an auto and at cruise speed you can barely hear it.

Hi Hyperflow gurus,

The TurboXs and Hyperflow 3" Catback stainless steel exhausts.

If the mufflers are branded TurboXs how old may they be?

And the latest 'quieter' version http://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/turb ... sedan.html of the Hyperflow 3" Catback stainless steel exhaust when did that come out here?

Reason for asking is I may have a TurboXs branded Catback to express interest in? I know it will be louder but it seems most people add a resonator to quite things down! Whats a fair price for a TurboXs branded Catback stainless steel exhaust?

Cheers guys
