hi guys

im looking for anyone's experience and opinions on a HyperFlow turbo back exhaust for the SH.
http://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/shop/turbo-back-exhaust-catted-forester-xt-09-13.html
how does it fit? good quality? sound? any drone? especially with a Auto?

i have tried searching , tried TurboXS (company old name in Aus) but nothing comes up worth noting that is current.
their website notes a revised muffler ....
and quotes
"The Touring Muffler features our new Volume Tone Reduction (VTR) specification. The VTR specification maintains and enhances the exhaust tones you love but while eliminating the rasp and drone you hate in a performance exhaust system. These new mufflers maintain a straight-through design that aids in exhaust gas flow and maximum power potential but keep sound pressure levels reasonable at idle and while cruising. We achieved this by more than DOUBLING the internal volume of each muffler compared to our previous WRX Sedan mufflers and by utilizing a propriety quantity and blend of packing material in each muffler. The overall result has to be heard to be believed - enjoyable melodic tones of the Flat 4 Boxer engine at idle and cruise with none of the rasp and drone that can detrimental to the driving experience"

any help is appreciated?

While I have one fitted to an SG I have also fitted hyperflow to SH's before.

how does it fit? - They fit well.
good quality? - Yes
sound? - Meaty, wrx one was way loud but foz one should be quieter but with a deep note still.
any drone? especially with a Auto? - More than likey, hard to find one that doesn't drone in an auto SH - Suggest a mid mufler.

Get any exhaust you want, and put a mid muffler. Just got mine done for my 4EAT. No drone but still some what loud and under the WOTT.

Tremayne is on point.

I have just fitted one to my sh a couple of weeks ago. Nice low tone and sounds good on wot too! Haven't spent much time just cruising yet (having too much fun putting the foot down). This is my first subaru so not sure how bad the drone can be. Still getting used to having the boxer rumble compared to my other cars. But loving it so far. Fits pretty well. The tips just sit a little to the inside of the exhaust cutouts. Overall I am very happy with it.

thanks.
seams like the way to go. That raises the question is it worth spending more for this system over a cheaper TBE like the XForce?
i don't have to go stainless , mild steel will do just fine... basically extra $$ for the fancy mufflers...

I've got a stainless steel x force on my car with invidia bell mouth down pipe. Drone was crazy inside, so opted for a mid muffler. It's still loud but I can actually hear people in the car talking now lol

Edit: Xforce CBE.

Just helped TristanJ install the full Hyperflow TBE. Fitment was pretty good. No issues fitting it on a SH manual.
Only issue was that it comes with 3 bungs but they only provided 1 plug so we had to take a trip to the auto shop to find something to to the job in closing up the remaining bung.

Sounds is deep but fairly subtle even under WOT, so good for those who don't like it very loud.

Once it's been for a run on the open road I will update on any drone
