Hi guys
Have been hearing an intermittent knocking/rattle from the front (possibly front LHS) of the car.

Generally audible if cruising at 60kmh plus and you gently accelerate. It's quite noticeable, but you don't 'feel' anything through the wheel/pedals etc.

As above it's also intermittent. Sometimes it's super obvious, other times it's hard to even provoke it. Very odd.

Any ideas? We've had a good poke around on a hoist and there's nothing obvious loose/rattling. Everything is tight an the car runs like a top.

Will be your CV Shaft 99% confident.

May look all intact but under the boot the bearings could be letting go.

True story, Happened to me.

Yeah did cross my mind.

Very intermittent and really comes and goes. On some drives, I will barely hear a thing and other times, passengers are asking me what all the noise is.

I guess a failing CV could behave that way?
