It’s hard to find any rads that list SH auto fitment.

So if I’m happy to have hoses trimmed, will the Koyo for GRB STI I linked to above fit ok?

This mishimoto rad and tran cooler look like they’ll work:

Still interested to know if I can get the equivalent 08+ WRX/STI Koyo one instead of Mishi

So if anyone finds this thread and is trying to figure out the same thing, both Koyo and Mishimoto WRX/STI 08+ rads fit the SH9 fine. After doing a bit of research, I found quite a few people complaining about the quality of Mishimoto - from leaking rad neck and welds to the cap not sealing properly, so decided to go Koyo. Confirming part no VH091662 fits perfectly and is a beautiful piece of gear. The welds look amazing. The only thing you’ll need with all of these aftermarket rads is a transmission cooler - I ended up getting a generic one from Auto One and it does the job fine; mounted mine in front of the rad.

Koyo one I got from eBay (delivered the next day!):

Hope this helps someone.

Cheers for putting up the results Re the Koyo radiator.

What thickness is the Koyo in comparison to stock?

I can measure and let you know. I wasn’t too concerned with getting something much thicker than stock as they become less efficient when you’re not moving enough air through them (I.e. as you would on street compared to track, where something a bit thicker would perform better)

I have similar concerns with thicker aftermarket radiators. Also, reduced access to drivebelt area.

Hey zpedalkin, that radiator looks nice, can you please check the part number, I can't seem to find it on the Koyorad website, Cheers Andrew

Sorry, it’s VH091662. I’ll correct the post above too.
