Post subject:  Fuses for the HID headlights

I have an 06 XT

In one of the headlights I have lost my low beam.

My parker, high beam and blinker still work.

The particular head light effected also has water/condensation inside of the lens.

If it was the water that shorted out the light causing it to blow, would a fuse have fried too??

And is thee a fuse for each individual light or a single fuse just for the whole headlight??

Cheers

Possibly just water in the HID ballast.

Some people have had success removing the ballast, drying it out and resealing the headlight with butyl sealant tape to keep the water out.

I’d wager that if you fully dry out the ballast, she’ll work just fine. More info here:

Cheers Pete.

I pulled the globe out which was busted but would like to pull the headlight out anyway as she is pretty moist inside.

The search has not revealed too much.
What is the easiest way to get the lights out?

I havent come accross any DIY to remove bumper and light
