Hello all,

Sorry I am new to this forum and didn't know where to post this but, I'm looking at what visual and power mods I can do to my 07 NA Forester. I've seen some posts saying not to do it and some that say you can do it. Any ideas would be great aswell as things to have done

If you want more power, sell and buy an XT model. A stock XT will be much much faster than any modified NA foz.

As for visual mods check out the forester gallery section: viewforum.php?f=12

if you upgrade your suspension, brake and handling in your NA, when you can finally upgrade to a XT most handling would be transferable.

Welcome to Subaru ownership. what are your plans with your forester? Do you want to take it on the beach, some off road touring?

As mentioned there is not much to be gained with an na when factory turbo models are easily accessible... In saying that you can have a bit of a fiddle.

1st how long since it had a set of spark plugs and upper engine cleaner?

Has it had a trimming belt? No head gasket we aping.... I mention these because they are possible expensive maintenance issues.

For noise....
- Performance panel airfilter- don't bother with a pod in the engine bay. Cai won't make any significant difference.
- exhaust to get a subie rumble. I'd go 2.5 inch diff back with a black straight pipe out the back ( my taste)

For performance a ecu tune could be possible if you want to always run 98ron fuel... Otherwise not much to be gained.

As for visual its all personal taste. I'd find some factory Subaru alloy wheels. 2inch strut lift. Bash plate. Exhaust. Tint windows. And go fishing.
