Hey rob,

do you have a measurement for the Hbrace? i want to see if it will fit before ordering it. Id like to get the pack if it all works but wanna make sure it fits first.

Also, i take it the STI rear bar is what i buy on the website. There just no details for the rear strut base.

Hi Wattsy - I think the H brace has clearance issues with the exhaust on the XT...clearance meaning contact with the exhaust....I do remember a customer a long time ago trying to install it and told me there was problems with the exhaust contact so after that I just told everyone it wont fit.... I hope he told me the truth!

The forester rear strut bars have been reloaded on the website now...they are different to the STI ones which wont fit..(they will nearly fit but nearly is no good! ;) )

I can measure the H brace if you like but i think the H brace will fit ok (you will probably need longer subframe bolts though ) but the exhaust I am told is what was the major issue...

Does anyone run a H brace successfully on a XT?

cheers
Rob

I might do some measuring. Maybe aftermarket exhaust will sit differently and let it go. I remember jdmwgn tried to fit one but didnt work. I never found out the issue of why not. Might see if if still has his and test it.

The heavy duty bar only applies to the front - which is 24mm...there is only one rear bar for the foz.
