So i accidentally flicked my phone into the windscreen (waving to someone!) and cracked it in a large star pattern. Doh.
Any suggestions for local new windscreen replacement? I'm open to suggestions...

Cheers

O’Brien AutoGlass. Also, check your comprehensive insurance policy, it may be covered by that, and may be excess free.

If you don't have it covered by insurance with no excess make sure you shop around.
There are massive price differences between companies and I mean hundreds of dollars.
Use the telephone and Yellow Pages / Google to get the best deal.

Check if your model has a heated element at the bottom of the screen. They are generally more expensive.

If you use a non heated screen make sure the heating plug is disconnected correctly otherwise it will retain a portion of the element wire and fall in to the body causing a short that blows a fuse.

Is it repairable? Depends on where the damage is.

If it's in the driver's field of view, a deft tap or two with a rubber mallet may persuade the cracks to propagate faster than they would otherwise do due to temperature changes and road shocks. Just saying.

If it’s in the drivers field of view, it’s probably classified as unrepairable.

It should be, but you never know, some insurers using repairers (such as Nova) will try almost anything to avoid expense. (*)

In my case, there were three rock chips on the P/S but one morning a 6" crack had appeared from one (bloody cold night in Hall's Gap) that went right across the dashcam "eyeball" and has continued further into the driver's side. No assistance required or given! Now to hope that the O'Brien replacement is half-decent.

(*) I once had a laminated screen get busted in an accident. Insurance repair. Panel shop replaced it with an Armourplate. Took an amount of toe-to-toe to get a lami back in there.
