I want to instal a water temp gauge. But have no tools at home to measure the upper radiator hoses diameter. Has anyone got the diameter for this hose?

Cheers

I have a 38mm adaptor and that fits in. I got that off Lolzer with the gauges.

I'm in the mood of digging old threads lately.

Can anyone confirm if the upper rad hose on my SF5 has 38mm ID? Which means that i need to get myself a 38mm sensor adapter?

Thanks.

BTW, any plumbers in here? The Defi gauge i got from japan...the sensors supplied with it have a 1/8" PT/BSPT thread, but i can only find temp sensor adapter with 1/8" NPT thread. From what i understand, the taper of the thread is different, one is 55° and the other is 60° of taper. Will i have to get an adapter for the adapter or will it be fine when screwed in with enough teflon tape?
