I swapped this for my Hilux about 5 months ago, slowly I started fixing her up.

Nearly the bushes have been replaced, new wheel bearings, new fluids in everything including gearbox and diffs.

The first thing I did was transfer my black plates on it to, I'll post a pic of when I got it and a pic of it now then show some progression pics.

Then and now:

A day or 2 after getting it I put my black plates on it.

Not too keen on the grill but I'll get around to replacing it at some point. Image

I have a few more bits and pieces here and on their way here but I'll post them up as they get put on.

Here is some "lowered WRX suspension" I bought, installed 1 front and it looked sus, googled the part numbers and it's just standard Pedders replacements for a Forester. Messaged the guy I bought it off but he wouldn't reply to messages after I told him about it.

And some slotted rotors and WRX 4 pots with standard rear calipers, unfortunately I had to sell them to fund others stuff on the Forester. ImageImage

Suprising good so far, it's hard to tell it from the stock suspension apart from a a few extra rattles in the back of the cabin from the extra firmness (which I cant really feel) that I'll try to chase down.

I have Blitz ZZ-R coilovers in my WRX and it's not a nice daily so I chose not to go that route

The roads here are garbage, they rattle the whole car and kill my spine on longer trips.

Pretty decent transformation of the vehicle

You could have added some Reality TV drama by saying "I only had 2 days to do it all" :P

I did do it all in 2 days actually (wheels and suspensionanyway), went and picked up the suspension and bought it home and put it in the same day, then put the wheels and camber bolts on the next day.

On another note, I went to get a wheel alignment today. The wheel bearing that I already replaced with a whole hub is gone already, need a new left rack end and the rear lateral link is out of adjustment either due to the adjustment bolt or bush being knackered.

Just grabbed a new bearing online instead of going with another user hub this time and hopefully I'll see a guy this weekend to grab the other parts used.
